CBS/NY Times and NBC/WSJ Polls Bury the Headline

You really have to dig deep to get the real story on the two network polls that came out this evening. Talking about burying the lead, but this is ridiculous. You could barely know that Obama actually leading in both polls.

The Wright distance...now keep moving

Obama did what he had to do yesterday in denouncing is former Rev. Wright. While he had to do it, I could tell it was personal and not wholly political.

I mean, I can imagine the phone call from the wife. "Barack, you need to see this man! He's gone crazy! Turn on the TV and watch this crazy preacher; he's lost his mind. We've got to get on up out of there!"

Did it. Very good. Perfect. Now what?

Well, so much for the good will and positive impression the Rev. Wright gave on the Bill Moyers show. He really screwed everything up at the Press Club yesterday.

So, what's Obama to do???

Obama and his wife need to have a press conference with his “new” preacher from his “new” church. Possibly shed a tear of shock, hurt, anger and disappointment in Rev. Wright, especially the fact Wright baptized his two girls.

He must disown Wright, now!

News tonight will be unwatchable

I can't bring myself to watch the cable news tonight. It's going to be ALL Rev. Wright, and I just don't think I can take it.

Would the Rev. Wright story exist if the media didn't play it up and cover it every time the good Rev. blows his nose?

Has Obama done anything in his political life that suggests he agrees with any of the sermons in dispute here?

If we are to believe this, we would have to believe that just over 50% of the voting public were idiots for believing Obama. Shoot, I'd have to be considered an idiot for being duped by the Rev. Wright induced Obama campaign.

Media picks polling to fit their narrative...For Example

How the media picks polls to highlight is always a mystery to me. I wonder if they pick a poll that fits their narrative for the day. For instance, Rev. Wright raises his head...most people don't like Rev. Wright, so lets find a poll that fits a narrative of Obama going down because of it.

One prominent poll does not fit your narrative, so I imagine we won't be reading about it today: Rasmussen's daily tracking poll shows Obama re-gaining the numbers he lost last week, 49 to 41, against Clinton. Rasmussen also shows Obama tied with McCain, while McClain leads Clinton by 3.

Let's see how many times today, the msm repeats Sir/Queen Hillary's DEMAND that the black man follows her command.

"Debate me or OFF with your head!" dreamed Hillary.

The media's silence on the New Rev. Wright is Deafening!!!

Did the reverend Wright piece air yet on PBS stations across America? I just watched it online. I thought it was supposed to be aired nationally on Friday.

The media has found out that Wright does not talk in soundbites. Taking bits and pieces of the broadcast with Bill Moyers and turning them into soundbites just won't work.

So, for now, the silence of the media of this thoughtful, learned man is so incredible loud, I can hear the proverbial pin dropping.

The good reverend may Wright himself tonight

I can imagine the Sean Hannity's of the world, as nervous as ever today. For tonight, they might find themselves looking at a calm, smart, civilized, decent, Rev. Wright. He might just come off as human, heaven forbid. And this will fly in the face of the demonic images so many people thought made up the entire life story of the Rev.

People might actually see why Obama and so many other regular black folk attended his church in Chicago.

Clinton donor claims don't add up

Has anybody thought to do the math on Clinton's 80,000 donaters in the 24 hours after Penn? That's 3,333 donors per hour, 55 donors per minute. Sounds like a system overload to me. That's about 165 people donating simultaneously, continuously, in a 24 hour period. if so many people were so moved by her win, why haven't her nationwide poll numbers gone up at all?

Bill Clinton - 1st Black President - I withdraw the nomination

I ask you...randomly...

Is anybody concerned that former president Clinton is turning into a redneck right before our eyes?

Will someone please tell me why we're making such a big deal about Clinton winning Pennsylvania when she was predicted to win Pennsylvania all along?

Why does the Black mayor of Philadelphia feel so victorious after almost 90% of the Black vote in his city and state went to the Black man he so passionately and inexplicably fought against? Can he really be pleased with himself?

Do the Clintons feel very good about once being revered in the Black community, now being reviled in the Black community?

A Clinton is receiving less than 15% of the Black vote. Is this a concern for anybody?

Are we concerned that former President Clinton is now a slimy-ol-race baiting-imitation-lounge act with an ax to grind?

Now we're all guilty of sitting and listening to Rev. Wright

The horrible 20-30 second clips of Rev. Wright have been looped over the airways and internet thousand, perhaps millions of times. So many Americans have heard his terrible words FAR more times than Barack Obama ever had as a member of that church. Hell, I've seen the clips hundreds of times, myself.

But I still love America. I don't hate anyone. I love all religions and people. September 11, 2001 is the saddest day...next to the untimely death of my father.

So if we've heard Wright's words soooooooo many times, why don't we hate our country?
If we expected Obama to quit the church over such words, why do we air and watch the clips over and over and over? Should we stop watching Fox News, CNN and MSNBC because they too aired the tapes? Is Fox News un-American because they have aired his harsh words? I'll bet Fox News has aired his horrible words more than his church members heard those horrible words on any given Sunday.

Is Hannity and all the rest unpatriotic because they seemingly enjoy hearing Rev. Wright?

Rev. Wright and thin skinned Americans

Wow, who'd a'thought that Americans were so thin skinned? African Americans have endured slavery, oppression, hangings, water hoses, discrimination, racial epithets, discriminations...oops I already said that.

20-30 second snippets of a 30-year career on the pulpit are aired over and over and over. Suddenly, Obama is unfit to be President. Hell, he's not fit to be an American.

Obama hates America. He's running for President of the United States as part of some devious plot to take over the world. He's un American. He doesn't love his country. He, like the thousands of Americans who sit in Rev. Wright's pews over the years, is a walking, talking zombie filled with hatred for his country. They think he's soaked in so much hatred over those little snippets that he must hate America.

Americans act tough, but we must not be.

Is the onus really on Obama to cause White voters -- who say that race is an issue in their vote – to vote for him? Is that what he has to do? He has to change years, decades, and centuries of backwards thinking in America to win the presidency??? It’s not Obama who can’t close the deal. It’s the 10% or so bigoted Americans who won’t allow him to close the deal.

Sean Hannity's non-stop drumbeat against Obama is serving one purpose some people may not be able to see.

He's bringing down those Republicans and Independents who watch Fox News who might have been excited about the Obama campaign. He knows his viewer, and he knows some of them may have become enamored by Obama's uplifting message.

Hannity's message..."Get your conservative asses back over here on the Right side."

I've been considering my level of happiness and rage based on potential outcomes of the Democratic contest. This may fly in the face of those who say, "Oh don't worry, we'll be united in November." I have no idea if my feelings are felt by others like me, but I'm know I'm not the only one.

One * denotes Happy

Four **** denotes Mild Anger
Five ***** denotes Outrage, Total Indignation and Hell to Pay!

1. * Obama wins the Democratic nomination...by any means necessary!
2. **Clinton wins the nomination on a good clean fight on the issues that effect this country
3. ****Clinton wins the nomination based on having thrown the "kitchen sink" to win
4. *****Obama loses at the convention...but lead in pledged delegates, states won, total votes.

If the voice of the people, most notably 90% of African American voters, is overturned by a backroom in Denver...there will be HELL TO PAY!

Hillarycentric Media

The main stream media (msm) is interesting isn't it. The presidential election seems to revolve around Hillary Clinton. It's like she's the long time champion taking on the newcomer Obama. Even though he's leading the race in every conceivable way, the only time he's the lead in the story is when it relates to a scandal or a gaff he's made.

But listen and watch closely next time. It's Hillary Clinton this...Hillary Clinton that...Can she...? Will she...? Clinton said... All with a little Obama thrown in as her foil. She's the champ and he's just a distraction in the way until she wins the nomination for which she was previously crowned winner prior to the actual election.
